Hailing from the beautiful “Nature Island” of Dominica, Garner “Fingee” had a love for music at a very young age. During his teenage years, he was a member of the band; Wafrikai. He migrated to the United States during the mid 1970’s and became a member of various bands which included Moja Nya, ADJA, Final Chapter, and Won Luv.
In 2000, he teamed up with is brother and friends to form the reggae band “Fingees.” The band began work on their debut album, "What Kind of Life is this?” The album was released in 2002 and consisted of songs that were spiritually and emotionally charged. Fingees soon began working on their next album “In Times Like These” which was released in 2008.
Fingee’s music venues and song writing continued and in 2015, he moved to Florida. After performing solo for four years, he joined the band “Roots Almighty” in 2019.
His love for writing and singing has expanded his musical career. Since 2020, he has released “Vote Them Out”, “Give and You Will Get”, “Under the Almond Tree”, and “Love Changes Lives” under the Brave Cat Productions label.
